Pathfinder Parachute Group is the United Kingdoms premier round parachute club .
The original group was founded in 1994 by Sgt Roy Mobsby 1 Para (retired) and L/Bombadier Ron Ball 7 Para RHA (retired).
Formed to enable retired paratroopers and Airborne enthusiasts the opportunity to jump round canopies, military style for fun.
As the numbers grew so Pathfinder was formed. The group were invited to jump with other similar groups in other countries proving the Airborne Brotherhood really does exist.
The WW2 Display team, an off shoot of the group, has jumped at commemorative displays throughout Europe proving that they have retained the Airborne expertise they gained as serving Paratroopers.
A multitude of foreign wings have been gained, many historical Drop Zones have been jumped and thousands of Parachute descents have been accumulated since Pathfinders formation. The group goes from strength to strength.
In 2004 we started getting so big that Roy decided that countries could form their own Pathfinder organisations , all under control of Pathfinder UK.
