Updated Mai 2002

April 20th, 2002 was the first time my KR saw daylight !   As you can see the nose wheel is missing. The nose wheel bracket does not fit my engine mount (Great Planes) and has to be modified.
Since I want to mount the wing attachment fittings permanently to the spar, I had to check if the outer spars fit.

The seat back is made of foam and glass. Behind the seat back I have made a small bagage compartment.   Flap handle
My fuel cap (Wicks #FC100-001): Simple, cheap and very light. The knurled aluminium neck is floxed into the tank. I floxed a grooved piece of ply in the cap to get a smooth surface.   The aluminium filler neck is grounded by rivetting it to the vent line.
Fuel Tank ready to be closed.   Here you see the bottom parts of the tank. They will be floxed in later.
I am using a capacitiv gauge from Princeton Electronics in combination with an Engine Information System (EIS).   Fuel tank ready for leakage check.
