These chords are for standard tuning (EADGBE), but Luka's version is in DADGAD, 1/2 or 1 full step lower
It's a beautiful and haunting tune, and there are tons of versions throughout Ireland, the UK and America. The one on Turf seems to be based on an arrangement by a Scottish folk singer, Hamish Imlach.

These basic chord fingerings sound kinda like the DADGAD version, and most of the notes seem to be picked on the lowest 4 strings or so. It's a great song to play around with, picking either more or fewer notes to suit your mood, or even strumming along. All suggestions very welcome
