DADGAD
This song is a brilliant study in percussive playing. Play along with the cd to get the rhythm and bring the song alive.

Delirious

Intro:
4th string: 5-h-7-p-5-h-7-h-9-p-7-p-5-h-7
Embed this riff in the D-chord

(variation: 5th string: 10-h-12-p-10-h-12-s-14-s-12-p-10-h-12
Embed this riff in the D'-chord)

Chords:
          D D' D/C D/B Bb G A7
D 0 0 x x x x x
A 0 0 x x x x x
G 7 11 x x x x x
D 7 12 12 12 8 5 5
A 5 12 12 12 8 5 7
D 0 0 10 9 8 5 7

Verses:
D/C // D/B // D // //

Chorus:
Bb // G // D // //

The aha aha part:
A7 // G// D //

Note: The D'-chord should be played as a climax-chord, at the end of
the verses, as you burst into the chorus. It gives great harmonics in
combination with all the open strings. It contains a fis (the third note)
the other D-chord is lacking.
You can use the D'-chord also in the verses, so you don't have to change
the position of your left hand. In that case you should damp that fis most
of the time (listen to the cd).
